Name what the budget covers
Decide whether the amount you have in mind is for the machine alone or the entire gift. Those are different constraints. For the full gift, include essential equipment, any applicable shipping and tax, and setup supplies you decide to provide. Mark unresolved amounts as unknown, not zero.
We do not filter by price because we do not have a verified live offer feed. It would be misleading to ask for a budget and then call an unpriced recommendation affordable. Use the shortlist to choose a preparation direction; confirm the current cost of the exact offer separately.
Compare equivalent purchases
Place the same required items in each option’s total. A machine with an integrated grinder and a machine that requires a separate one should not be compared solely by their machine prices. But a recipient who already has suitable equipment may have a different complete cost from someone starting without it.
Keep optional extras out of the essential subtotal. Then decide whether each extra adds value for this particular person. An elaborate bundle is not automatically a better deal; nor is a bare machine automatically less expensive once the missing essentials are identified.
Use a stop rule
Choose a maximum full-gift amount before opening offers, and do not change it simply because a sale label creates urgency. When no suitable option fits the budget, pause, choose a different direction or involve the recipient. The point of a budget is to change a decision, not decorate a questionnaire.
At checkout, recheck the model, seller, condition, inclusions and total. Our page intentionally avoids fixed Amazon prices and savings claims. The amount charged, eligibility of the offer and delivery conditions come from the transaction you are actually about to make—not from a dated comparison or a manufacturer promotion available somewhere else.
Use a complete-cost worksheet
Make one column for each shortlisted setup and fill it with current amounts you verify yourself. The worksheet is deliberately blank: it is a planning method, not a published Amazon price comparison. Write the date and currency next to your figures.
Calculate the required setup subtotal first. Add optional presentation items only after the essentials fit. Keep ongoing ownership costs on a separate line so a low first-day total does not conceal supplies the recipient will be expected to buy later.
If one setup needs a separate grinder and another does not, the correct comparison is the cost of the intended working setup. Conversely, do not charge the recipient’s existing suitable equipment to one option as a new purchase. Unknown costs remain unresolved; they are not savings. Stop when a required item would push the total beyond the agreed ceiling.
